For many years, I've seen a great deal of sadness, sexual dysfunction, and shame in our community.

I saw too much of the material meant to stimulate our sexual imaginations as badly made and numbingly one-dimensional.

I felt we deserved better.

On the Couch was born as an Internet series, videos, and gallery exhibitions to create a comprehensive record

of the sexual energy of men who were working to free themselves from these problems.
